Review & Description
Fueled by jealousy and quiet rage, scrawny Jordan Destrio is desperate to win back his ex. He chooses to ignore his fear of needles and moral stance on drugs and do the unthinkable. He decides to come to the darkside… to take… steroids.
“‘Roid Rage is a myth.” That’s what Jordan’s bodybuilding best friend claims. But after Jordan commits acts of uncharacteristic violence, he questions the validity of that claim. Then again, he obtained his “steroids” from a suspicious Russian working for a possibly mad scientist who’s obsessed with brainwaves and hell-bent on creating mind altering drugs. But who knows?
Jordan has a lot on his plate. He’s got a sister with cancer, agoraphobic mother, might-be-a-pedophile best friend, boss who hates him, and ex-girlfriend who wants nothing to do with him. Will taking steroids solve all his problems?
Steroid Stranger by BJ Santiago is a satirical look at the world of steroids, vanity, the media, and the absurdities of American society.Fueled by jealousy and quiet rage, scrawny Jordan Destrio is desperate to win back his ex.
